Hownd achieved the status of being in the top 100 most ethical companies. They produce both tinned and dry plant-powered foods that are fully FEDIAF compliant and very popular. In 2024, the independent company Hownd was bought by Pet’s Choice to enable increased production. They are not a vegan company, but the fact that they have increased capacity to produce more Hownd vegan dog food is a big positive.
