“Just wanted to share a bit of good news with you all! This is Pax, she’s 9 and has been vegan for 3 1/2 years – before that she was fed organic raw meat.
She used to have all sorts of issues – allergies with constant hot spots, mystery lumps, bad staining around her eyes and mouth, problematic anal glands… she was at the vets with a new issue every 3 months or so.
Since going vegan all of these issues cleared up and she’s so much more agile and energetic. I took her for a health check yesterday and asked them to run a full blood count just to check everything and if healthy, use as baseline bloods moving forwards.
The vet said her bloods were outstanding – literally everything was spot on – and that if she had a 9 year old dog with such good bloods she’d be very happy so whatever we’re doing for her, it’s working.
I shared that she’s vegan and she was super supportive and said she often recommends veggie or vegan diets for dogs 💚 So, if you’re thinking about making the switch for your pup or you’re anxious about getting started – do it, our only regret is not doing it sooner!”

We have not been back to the vets for Lottie’s itchy ears for 4 weeks and counting! Which is incredible with what we’ve been through!
Without wanting to sound dramatic, Solo Vegetal has literally saved and brought our boy back. We saw many vets including specialists and not one suggested a vegan diet so we didn’t even know this was an option for dogs. I dread to think where we’d be now if we hadn’t transitioned Duke!
As a breeder of Italian Bolognese dogs the biggest challenge is the tear staining. I have bred for 18 years
