This is absolutely our next pandemic with the growing dangers of people feeding their dogs and cats a raw food diet as shown below!!

A very concerning article in November 2025 when we read about UK Petfoods ‘Rawsafe stamp’ for raw foods in the UK; is the very real and always present danger of our next pandemic caused by raw fed dogs and cats.

This should never have been allowed by such a large company as UK Petfoods (with no vets in their team at all) to decide on declaring raw feeding safe when we have so many published articles showing health concerns in humans, dogs and cats when fed a raw food diet.

The threat now of an Avian Flu Pandemic mentioned by Dr Jégou (as shown below) makes it a very real danger to our future health with the continued encouragement by UK Petfoods of raw feeding!

Action needed to stop next ‘pandemic’ – pharma boss

Ceva Animal Health’s European vice-president Loïc Jégou’s warning comes amid concerns about several current disease threats in Europe.

Dr Jégou raised particular concerns about the capacity to contain avian flu because of its ability to jump from one species to another.

Dozens of cases have been reported in cattle, while incidents in cats and dogs have been linked to contaminated raw pet food.
