In my inbox yesterday 11th November – An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone with mandatory housing measures will come into force in Wales from 13 November 2025
In my Inbox on Sunday 9th November – Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a premises near Welshpool, Powys
Inbox on Saturday the 8th – Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed in commercial poultry near Hallow, Malvern Hills, Worcestershire
Inbox Wed 5th – Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 have been confirmed
Inbox Tuesday 4th – Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a large commercial poultry premises near Wells-Next-The-Sea, North Norfolk, Norfolk
Inbox also Tuesday 4th – An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone with mandatory housing measures are coming into force across the whole of England
This is truly devastating as these poor birds around the entire country are now prisoned indoors with no access to a normal foraging environment in the entire country!
This is absolutely our next pandemic with the growing dangers of people feeding their dogs and cats a raw food diet as shown below!!
A very concerning article in November 2025 when we read about UK Petfoods ‘Rawsafe stamp’ for raw foods in the UK; is the very real and always present danger of our next pandemic caused by raw fed dogs and cats.
This should never have been allowed by such a large company as UK Petfoods (with no vets in their team at all) to decide on declaring raw feeding safe when we have so many published articles showing health concerns in humans, dogs and cats when fed a raw food diet.
The threat now of an Avian Flu Pandemic mentioned by Dr Jégou (as shown below) makes it a very real danger to our future health with the continued encouragement by UK Petfoods of raw feeding!
